League/Site Updates
March 01: Weeks 5&6 are now officially started and due by next Sunday. Feb 24: New GM for Michigan is ezeepickns. Feb 22: Unfortunately had to let go of Penn State, not cause of playing problems, but because for whatever reason we couldn't get any of the stats from his games to work with the rest of the league. He is still more than welcome to re-join our league with a different team if he does choose to. Therefore neither game Penn State played will count in the final league standings. Feb 22: Washington State and Stanford have been removed from the league. It's now an 18 NCAA team league, still with 12 teams going to the playoffs. Feb 21: alright another change in the 4th down policy. I get bitched at when I originally take it practically out of the game, then bitched at again for putting it back in. All I want to do is make everyone in this particular league happy so theirs a compromise. You can go for 4th down with 5 or fewer yards to go only once in the first half, or at anytime you're down by 17 or more points, or if you're in the 4th quarter. Feb 21: corydillon4prez changed from Washington State to Florida. now Washington State and Stanford remain open. Feb 21: New GM for Michigan is prattdog_69. Feb 21: New GM for USC is madturk882. Feb 21: New owners for Florida, Michigan, Stanford and USC shortly. Feb 21: Weeks 3&4 officially start today and are due Sunday 29th. Feb 20: waveswebdesign2003 is the new GM of LSU Feb 20: deathdealer31 has resigned as LSU. a replacement is now being looked for. Feb 19th: I've received quite a few complains about the 4th down policy in this league, so I thought it over and decided to open up the 4th down plays, only on certain conditions though. As of before you could only attempt a 4th down play if you were either A) down by 17, or B) in the 4th quarter. Well as of today you can also attempt a 4th down play if it is 4th and 5 or less. As well, fake punts are also now officially allowed. Feb 19th: Florida, Iowa, LSU, Michigan, Stanford, and USC all need to get at least 1 game in by Sunday or I will find replacements. Feb 19th: Only 2 more days to get your 2 league games in and their are still 9 teams that have yet to submit any games and 2 teams that have only submitted 1. If you don't get your games in on time without letting me know why you're behind schedule I'm gonna have to find a replacement for your team, which I REALLY don't want to do. Feb 18th: tbeysolow is taking over Florida State. Feb 15th: corydillon4prez new owner of Washington State. Feb 15th: Updated teams starting roster pages. Also, today I was asked by a league member if he minded if he ran a game or 2 ahead of the week 1-2 schedule. And as I personally look at it, I'd rather have a league member be willing to play more games rather than falling behind in the season. So if you want to play a couple extra league games, feel free. Just don't get too far ahead of the schedule or you'll be waiting around for any potential slackers we may have come the end of the season. Also all the stats submitted are up to current. I'll continue to update the stats pages as the stats come in. Good luck all. Feb 15th: don_hearn2000 is now again the owner of Auburn. Feb 14th: Need another new owner for Auburn. Starting lineups on everyone's team pages are now complete. Feb 14th: The league has now changed its playing level to all-pro. Feb 14th: New Owner for Auburn is oldschool383. The starting lineups on each team page are almost complete. I just finished Penn State (going in alphabetical order) and I'll finish the rest tonight. Week 1 & 2 are still in progress. Please send in your stats before next Saturday. Feb 14th: New owner for Iowa is Orangecrush4723, Feb 14th: Teams pages are now complete and I'm now currently working on every teams starting lineups, which may take a day or two to complete. Feb 13th: Weeks 1 and 2 have officially started in this Madden NCAA league. There are no set schedules, just make sure you play every other play once and only once. at the completion of both of your games (if they are winning games) send your winning stats in a .zip file to [email protected]. Remember there is a requirement of 2 games a week, so I need them in by Saturday 23rd. Also I added team pages so you can keep track of the opponents you've played and your scores over the course of the season. Good luck everyone.
